Scholarship Applications Are Open for 2025-26 Highschool Graduates!
The Emmanuel Cares Community Development Corporation is proud to announce that the Carolyn Richardson Scholarship (for young ladies) and the Elijah Easley Scholarship (for young men) are officially open for applications!
These scholarships were created to support hardworking high school seniors in Harris County who are preparing to take the next step toward their college or vocational journey.
Eligibility Requirements:
• Must be a graduating high school senior in the 2025–2026 school year
• Must have a GPA of 2.5 or higher
• Must attend high school in Harris County
• Must plan to attend college or vocational learning in Fall 2026
• Must be able to attend the Scholarship Gala on Saturday, June 27, 2026 at 5:00 PM

Annual Share Your Thanksgiving
As the season of gratitude approaches, Emmanuel Cares invites you to join us for our Annual “Share Your Thanksgiving” Event — a heartfelt initiative dedicated to ensuring that families in need across our community can enjoy a warm and plentiful Thanksgiving meal.
Each year, through generous donations and the support of volunteers, Emmanuel Cares provides meals and groceries to local families who might otherwise go without. This year, our goal is to reach even more households and make sure that everyone has something to be thankful for.
How You Can Help:
• Donate: Every contribution helps provide meals and groceries to local families. No amount is too small to make a difference.
• Volunteer: Join us in preparing and distributing meals to those in need.
• Spread the Word: Encourage friends, family, and neighbors to give back this holiday season.
